Replacement Guidance

The annual kit is generally replaced 365 days after installation and includesStages 1, 2 and 3 plus the UV bulb. The Sterisil System G4 filter monitortracks the remaining lifespan of these components when properly programmed.

Stage 4 deionization cartridge lifespan varies based on incoming source-waterquality and water usage. Replace the cartridges when indicated by the systemmonitor or when water-quality performance shows that the cartridges aredepleted.

Installation

The Sterisil System G4 uses automatic shutoff valve heads that stop water flowwhen a cartridge is removed. The main incoming water valve generally does notneed to be shut off during routine cartridge replacement.
