Description
The 012 NeoDiamond FG is a coarse grit diamond bur, having a flat end cylinder shape which is primarily useful for the aggressive, effective cutting of dental materials on crown and bridge preparations. At only 1.2 mm in diameter and 4 mm in working length, it offers excellent precision and control, particularly in shallower or tighter operative fields. Flat-end cylinder geometry provides a parallel clean cut and should be an excellent choice for bulk material removal in occlusal surface shaping and interproximal reduction. It is indeed a coarse grit instruction for both anterior and posterior applications where one requires relatively rapid withdrawal of tooth structure without compromising its accuracy. The bur, with Triton bonding technology, provides long-lasting cutting performance and durability through the entire procedure. The bur is designed for one-use application and pre-sterilized to improve infection control and decrease chairside time. Its green color-coding makes this coarse grit readily identifiable so that a clinician can quickly pick the appropriate grit. NeoDiamond’s friction grip shank is designed to fit high-speed handpieces, rendering it stable, low in vibration, and highly sensitive while making the cuts.
