Exufiber is a non-woven polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) gelling fibre dressing designed for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. On contact with wound fluid, it transforms into a gel that conforms to the wound bed, providing gentle comfort and reducing the risk of tissue disruption. Hydrolock Technology securely retains exudate within the fibres, preventing leakage and protecting peri-wound skin from maceration. Its structural integrity remains intact when wet, allowing clean one-piece removal and supporting patient dignity during dressing changes.

Exufiber is suitable for a wide range of wound types, including challenging cavity wounds where effective fluid management is essential. It can be used alone or in combination with Mepilex Border Flex, whose Flex Technology and Safetac® adhesive enhance flexibility and gentle adherence.
